Your question doesn't make a lot of sense. You aren't using a true speed density system here, chrome bases load off the maf signal, it doesn't give a care what your displacement is. I had to make zero changes to go 3.4 liters. The maf will simply pickup the extra flow and minor tuning may be necessary as you hit different load cells.Quote:

Aem series 1 are dirt cheap. Cheaper than chrome actually, at least what I've seen lately.

The ecu doesn't know or care what your ve is. It is just going to output fuel based on its airflow signal and load maps. There's nothing you can't tune out. If an engine combination is difficult to tune, AEM isn't going to necessary help and could make it a lot harder.Quote:

I'm sure there are a lot more things, but I don't have much personal experience. I think v1 might be fun to get your feet wet, but if I was going to take the time to properly tune a standalone I'd get a v2. I've thought about it, but chrome runs so perfectly I can't convince myself to change.

yes, that is what I think. Chrome has such a great basemap, you can get any practical setup pretty darn driveable in just minutes. The closed loop is really, really good too. You would have no clue my car wasn't 100% stock driving it around. Starts on the first crank, got about 20 MPG on a highway trip on e85 Friday, consistently hits my desired afr, even after not touching the tune since April, etc.Quote:
