Ducting

Looks nice. I think many people underestimate the importance of proper ducting on our cars.
Transmission is all built and shimmed. I also received my carbon fiber combat wing from c7 (still working out some issues with them). Tonight, I decided to reseal my oil pan. When I pulled it off, I thought I saw big metal chunks at the bottom, but it just turned out to be some grey silicone. After I got over that almost heart attack I decided to inspect the bearings while I had the pan off. My worse fear was then realized as some of the rods would move, and some had zero play. After pulling 2 caps - a loose one and a tight one - I found the tight one to be worn significantly more than the loose cap and was now blue in some spots from heat. It does not look like my crank is damaged, but I will pull it out and bring it to a machine shop because it will be done right this go around. I wish I had the knowledge about cars when I was 16 that I do now; then I wouldn't be in this situation.
So now it's time for forced upgrades and building the engine earlier than I expected. Just ordered ninja performance rods while they were still on sale and I should be picking up everything else within the next month or so
New rods from Ninja Performance!

Looking good!
Nice, looking good! Don't see that many all out builds anymore.
Out of curiosity, what oil cooler did you get with Maximal's kit?
Sent from my RM-820_nam_att_100 using Board Express
It's a setrab core and maximal lines.. I was researching for a while before I got this kit and I was going to build my own using a setrab core, but maximal came out with this right before I was going to buy the stuff to do it.
Updated the first 2 lists. The parts needed list is getting smaller!! :)
Got my brand new forged crank in the mail along with an oem gasket set, a1 head studs, and some other good things.. Ordering bearings, new oil squirters, and arp main studs on Friday then the block and parts are going to the machine shop.
