thanks for the leason. i just bought my son a 95 3000gt and im researching the car a little. its radio is locked out and its making some noise at the trans. you can here it through the wheel well sound like a timing chain slapping on an old chevy. i need to check the fluid in it.
there's two ways you can get the radio to reset to where you can enter codes. if memory serves, you either have to disconnect the battery for a certain length of time, or you have to leave the key in the accessory position for an hour or so (it's been a LONG time since i had to do this). make sure you pull the radio out so you can get the serial number off it. giving that serial number to a mitsubishi dealership is the easiest way to get the code to unlock it.Quote:

I bought my first 3000GT yesterday. It is a 91 5 speed and is was saved from going to the junk yard. It is going to need some work, but I have seen worse. It will be a great car to hone my skills on. I look forward to talking with all of you and share ideas with.
