THE NG11 Announcement - No hype, just the facts

What are the safety equipment requirements for the autocross? I have an SA2000 rated open face, and an Snell 2005 motorcycle helmet. I know that the SA helmet is technically expired, and I'm wondering if I have to grab a new one before NG if I want to run the autocross.

We'll have a pdf posted with the tech requirements within the next week.

If you do not have an FRS get one and bring it to the NG. You will need it for autocross.

well i guess when a cone gets knocked over you can yell into your megaphone...

IF you run the autox you will do "corner work" when your group is not on the track. That means watching for people that hit cones or go off track. The FRS allows you to let me know when that happens.

We also use the FRS to announce the times and what group should line up.

i guess you could yell into the cone that was knocked over...
