I have owned my 3k for a few years, recently painted it matte black....
Looking to buy a 3000gt.
Hey, Brian here. I bought a stock '93 VR4 project car a few months ago and have been slowly trying to fix it up. She runs well enough but won't be winning any beauty pageants. I figure that buying a POS and doing some work would prep me for when I upgrade to one with more power and a little nicer looking. I am a total noob when it comes to these cars and turbos in general so I will apologize now for the dumb questions I am sure to ask. Thanks in advance for any help you guys might give.

hi all, yep still in Kuwait and still have 2 - 3000GTs. hello to Adamvr4 and Alan! Have not been tracking any of the sites over the last few days. Thanks to Adam for letting me know on this site.
I'm relatively new to the 3s platform but have had and Eclipse I started to work on. So far I love the 3s and am excited to be able to find another forum with other enthusiasts.

I have been reading about VR4's for several years, now i have the opportunity to buy one so i thought i would join this forum. to gain some more knowledge of the transfer case system.
Well not only the T Case but I'd like to learn what it takes to put 400hp to the ground, So making around 500 at the crank.
I had a vette that put 455HP to the wheels, that was a fun toy, the wife hated it, it was: too loud, too stiff, too quick, too cool, to cramped. So i sold it to avoid getting in arguments. now i need a new toy.
I'm sure its possible to make 500HP at the crank I just need to learn what it takes to do so reliably.
Sold the Vette because it was too good? sounds like you should trade in for a new wife... jk sry..

I'm looking for a new car to replace my 2001 Impala and a 3000GT VR4 may be just what I'm looking for. If I do end up buying a VR4 I'm sure I'll be spending a fair amount of time here. ;)
