Finally picked up a f5m33 transmission today. Started taring down right away.
Continued my louver-grille theme to the rear bumper......

Put a bunch more time into getting my racing seats and harnesses installed... Almost done. This would have taken a third the time if i were short.
Let's just say Corbeau's bracket jig is imperfect, their sliders are anything but low profile, their "universal" side-mount brackets are totally worthless, and their seats are designed for 4-door cars with a foot of head room.
Other than that, it's been perfect ;) The seats do look phenomenal and they're really comfortable.
I did emissions, VIN test, and got her 2 new plates for CO! (Just moved here)

And now I have these.

This will fix my grinding in 3rd, my lack of 5th, and my grinding in reverse :) All parts r used but are in mint condition. Not bad for a 50$ transmission. A ACT clutch will be going in the car as well.
Gave her a well deserved rest after a 900 mile roundtrip weekend to San Diego.
Drove into a Jeep a couple days ago...
Sends the msg: u only beat a non turbo 3000GT or haha u got beat by a non turbo 3000gt.

Washed it yesterday and drove it to the gym again today. I need bigger turbos badly, this car is feels slow.
Washed it and waxed it the put the car cover on it for it to sit for the next 3 years. Very sad day but maybe in Germany might bring a GTO into my future I will post a picture of my cars new addition that pushes my dads garage bigger then his house

I'm fine, the Stealth is ok... Just cosmetic damage although at a shop it's easily enough to total the car. Didn't report to insurance though since they wouldn't really give me much and my premiums would jump. It definitely needs a new turn signal and front bumper cover. The fender may need to be replaced and the headlight itself seems to be ok if I can untweak it to get it to pup up it just needs a new cover. I think the minor damage on the hood can be fixed. The bucket for the headlight is also bent so I may be able to straighten it or just drill it out and weld in a new one. It may also need paint depending on how I fix it. I've been debating about buying a roller TT from Shmoo and swapping in drivetrain, buying a local N/A and swapping body panels then painting, or just selling it to a friend that wants it and needs a car and will still give me somewhat close to what I was originally asking. If I go last route, I will replace with another 3S though. My planned 10 sec car build hasn't changed though, I may just be adding some body work LOL.
I really like the selling it route now though since then I don't have to worry about it. Oh yeah, the Jeep is fine other than needing a new bumper cover, he had stopped already in the road and I hit him while I was turning onto the street. Since I was turning it was more of a scrape... had I been going straight it would have been head on.
walked by it, lifted the car cover and got my garage door opener for the new member of the Family

gonz looking good
Is that a ballast in the bucket for converted halogens Gonzo?
Yeah those are the ballasts for the HID's I have been using the same VVME kits now for ovr 6 years and never had an issue with any of them. Great kits for about $40.00 ea!!!!
What I did for my 3/s today:

Whole thing was less than $30 from Office Depot.
Wet sanded, cut waxed and installed my freshly painted Stealth wing. Hopefully I can get it out of the back yard and into the shop to either paint the white panels red, or skin them with some nice double twill carbon fiber.
I also got started on repairing my ruined custom bumper...
draped one of my modded blisters in red cf. need to redo it tough.

Where is the write up for those blisters I cant find
didn't do a writeup. not much to say about it. just drilled alot of holes in a line at an angle then grinded it out in between. also it's good if you measure and draw out where you want the vents before on the underside before you start drilling so it comes out nice and symmetrical. I'm sure there is a much easier way doing it if you have the tools which I don't.
oh and I bought extra blisters incase i would f*ck it up and it would come out bad :)
Drove it to work :)
Got my door caps and side skirts painted up, finally.

That looks really good... Glad you took them off the car... Nothing bothers me more than when the black plastic behind the side skirts 'vent' is painted body color.
