I loved my xtd stage 3. 0 issues with it other than it "over heating" when I have it serious hell.
I have nothing bad to say about it with the amount of abuse I gave it.
I was sort of pulling your leg. Most people put them that way if it's not labeled on the rotor but mainly because it looks better. Like Nathan said it can depend on the manufacturer. It can depend on the cooling veins being directional. The slots themselves don’t appear to really make a big difference what way they go. I’ve found no real hard evidence anyway, only people claiming that’s the way they should go.

How to properly install plain, slotted, or drilled brake rotors
Oh wow, so at least I had the right idea about the directional vanes.... Just not the right ones, lol.
I was BPU. I dynoed like 280 or something slow.
But, I put that clutch through atleast a hundred launches, a handful of track passes too.
I drumped that thing from 5-6k all the time. I have it sitting on my block, I should take it apart and post pictures of what it looks like, as I am curious too. I haven't taken the pressure plate off of that old setup yet.
Started painting engine bay. Danube Blue w/ rattle cans. Hopefully by Sunday it will be done and clear coated.
Sitting a little lower today. Springs must be settling :)

Looks good. TEIN S Techs?
Yeah, the rotors I bought from IPS are mounted the same direction n2sanity mounted his. The directions (or IPS jeff) specifically said to mount them that way. I didn't think to look at the internal cooling passages, but I will next time I'm in there. They've certainly stopped the car from very ..... legal ..... speeds.
