Already had mine out (I had wetsanded them with 2000 grit a week ago), so I used my Porter polisher (first with a "cutter" pad and two different compounds, and then a "polish" pad with polish [duh]) to refinish them :)
They still have some very small rock blemishes, but look 10x better than they did :)
Bob.
Continuing rear subframe awesomeness.
Received my Sunroof hardware / surround gasket today. After I receive payments for Saturn parts recently sold, I think I will be buying the LCD black box.
Changed my WB02 over to read Lambda instead of AFRs. Going to get the lambda readings down, in prep for switching over to E85 with a flash ECU.
i put in my walbro 400lph pump
Installed my GZP oil cooler.
Looking straight at it it's about the same size as stock.

But it's much thicker.

There really isn't much more room for a bigger core because of the IC piping without leaning it back a good bit and the efficiency suffering.

My review? I think it could use one or two more rows but it doesn't need much more. Without the SMIC there and this one being much thicker I'm pretty confident it will do the trick. I also like that there isn't banjo bolts. It seems like it will flow a good bit better than stock. After the install I let the car idle a bit and the oil pipe coming in was hot but the one coming out was nice and cool.
Even though I think it could be a little bigger I think it's a good buy at $200. Even better when you have 100 bucks in GZP gift certs. :D
That looks great...I looked at mine lol
I swapped exhausts downpipe back, installed wideband, replaced bad driver's axle as well as cleaned all the grease from the ripped boot :( , swapped oil pressure sending unit, changed oil, replaced transfercase with a good one, fixed rear oil return leak with a new gasket, and some other odds/ends on the Stealth. It was a looong day.
makes me wish i had my c3's, paul.
turned it on after almost a year and change :) have to fix little exhaust leak.. install headlights.. fix some ground wiring.
then i get to start on my dr700 car :D
Ordered a AWS delete kit for the yellow one and started dropping the rear subframe.
For the white one payed for a cage and picked up my spare 4 bolt to start building the engine for it.
trying to polish my plenum but i suck lol
Took my front bumper off, pulled off the smics, found out that my car had a "homemade" front mount oil cooler on it. By that I mean it was a huge tranny cooler that they adapted to serve as a FMOC. That will not be going back in lol. I also pulled all my brake lines out so I could put on my STM ABS delete kit, and in general tried to clean up the engine bay by removing any unnecessary wiring, hoses etc. I also took the whole front subframe off my car so I could sand blast it and have it powdercoated before putting it all back in :). Eventually I'll pull the rear subframe and do an AWS delete and have the rear powder coated as well.
As an FYI, I used my freight scale and the ABS pump with about a foot of the old lines (where I had cut them off) weighted in at 15.25 lbs.
Installed new fuel pressure gauge, in preparation for increasing the base fuel pressure to run E85...
Drove it to the gym. Got challenged by an audi wagon and tailgated by a riced out prelude. Also hit 8lbs of boost. It was a very exciting day.
Determined the other day that both my MHI 16g turbos are toasted. They are spewing oil out the intake hole. They have less than 1500 miles on them.
Yesterday I jumped it so I could start it up and move it to the driveway. I found the receipt for the battery and will be taking it back tomorrow.
Temporarily installed battery to make sure the wire harness install went well. She is alive! Electrically at least.
Yanked the battery out so I can get a replacement.
I looked at it all lonely and abused, sitting outside being neglected, and sighed and went inside.
bought another one!!!! hey'o!!!!

you bought "that" car....... lots of goodies in there IIRC.
it has a ton. we did a trade deal and cash with the customer for repairs to his twin turbo, etc.
This is the turbo set up that Hans has promised to put in my Spyder :)
That car was a great deal, wish I could have jumped on it.
I wanted to get that DR1000 car for some of the parts but I had already bought two. Oh well. I still got some goodies. :)
damn Em! i put the car cover on a few days ago, but got my new Quadco OS and tcase seal rebuild kit from 3sx in the mail yesterday. Probably gonna do the OS and teh TOB, os seal either this week or next. Just have to wait to get the new billet tcase from Dave. as soon as thats done its getting put together by jacks and then installed in my car :)
Nice car... you guys are taking it apart EM?
Got a battery for it. I should say I took the one back that had a dead cell and got it replaced under warranty.
