I replated my fuel injector clips with some tin-zinc electroplating...now they're rust-free & match the rest of the recent polishing craze that I've been on.

Actually, Eastwood Company has an at-home electroplating kit for $60.00. Realistically, all that you'd need to buy are a couple tin zinc anode bars & some type of electrolyte solution as long as you have some fine metal hand polish already on-hand...Their kit includes a tube of Autosol, so that's like $16-18 of the total cost.
The solution is: Water, Stannous Sulfate, & Sulfuric Acid, but I don't know the ratios.

I really wish I could go drive my car today...but the weather is nasty and I just washed it....
nothing to do on the car because I am waiting on parts :(
Finally switched to 3rd gen lifters, tucked the front injector wires, painted my cam gears, resealed my top end, and installed a new timing belt.

Where did you purchase the 3rd gen lifters from? I've been wanting to do this for a while now :)
