Did you need to use some kind of hub adapter? How does the material feel compared to stock?
Oh and I'm not sure your aware of this but your steering wheel is on the wrong side. Need to fix that.

Yeah the material is good, feels similar to stock, just like any leather wheel I guess.
I bought a boss kit/hub adapter and a quick release add on adapter, all from the same seller on ebay where I bought the steering wheel from.
As far as comparing it to the original, the only main differences i'm aware of is that it obviously doesn't have the 'Momo - made in Italy' and date stamp engraved on the back of the wheel, and it comes with a generic gay horn button that says 'horn' lol instead of 'momo'

So I had these made to the correct size:

And the final result was this:

All I need to do is wire in the horn button, clear the SRS light, and might try installing it without the quick release adapter to see if it feels better because it will be about an inch closer to the dash without it...
At this stage I don't plant to reinstall the cruise control controls as I never use it. It can be done though, a few have just relocated it underneath the headlight stalk...
Your momo was on the wrong side of the car so I fixed it.

LOL that would be alright, apart from the main cluster reading backwards and the wrong way around :p
Wow that black interior is gorgeous!
My news, today I re-inflated a rear tire and got it to start and run on my hybrid ECU. Still stuck in the barn though lol.
When did you get the pitroadm cluster GTOX? how righ have you had it?
Had it for a while now, highest i've had it is only around 160km/h. The 180km/h limiter is supposed to be removed by Pit Road M so I guess i'll have to test it out at those speeds.
I decided to part my 15g vr4 out  I'll have a for sale thread up later...
I looked at it.. wanting the bent valves to big fixed.. while I still sit at home on the computer and look for parts to buy..
Over the past 2 days I've pulled the dash, removed old turbo timer harness, egt, narrow band, pulled oem sidemounts, oil cooler, clutch vac reservoir, all the stock ic piping.. Motor and tranny are next
Yeah I absolutely love 3S's, but I'm just kinda over being an owner of one. Just don't have the funds to maintain it and make it what I want. Looking to get into a house in the near future too, so it's just time to get rid of it. I may see if anyone wants the thing as it sits now for $4k or so.
That really sucks man, I hope if you can sell it as a whole the new owner takes care of it. Good luck though!
Today I stood outside for about 15 minutes and stared blankly at mine... Pondering what to do with it today, then walked inside and went back to bed lol.
Lol, I've done that a few times this winter :p
This is what I did/finished today.

Bought her some parts from 3sx.
i removed the dash to replace some burnt wires... DImmer switch still doesnt work.. now my car doesn't start.. FML. More crouching, more back pain FTW!
Filled the space between the CF rear quarters and the underlying quarters with foam. They sounded like a tin roof when rain hit them. Worked nicely.
Pulled the trans after work... and every minute of it it sucked!

Did you drop it out the bottom or pull it from the top?
After the trans are you fixing the holes in your hood? Did it rust thru?
That hood definitely needs a fixin! You can't ee it in the pics but it's all spidered out. It came unlatched on the hwy. I have a replacement, it's in the loft.
Bottom. Comes out really easy once you get all the crap out of the way. I hate droppin these trans, doin this after work kicked my ass! It's time to crash
Lol I hear ya man, I'm in no rush to mine back in :p
I'm convinced it's easier to pull the engine with the trans attached vs just pulling the trans.
It definitely was, I dropped everything out the bottom when I took it all out.
Installed an aluminum 2-piece driveshaft and a new high-flow cat converter.

It's way easier with a lift and a trans lift. I used to have one I could use all the time but now buy the time I get off work the shop is closed so I'm stuck doing it the oldshool way. It literally takes twice as long (about 3 hours) using the cherry picker.
Mitsu did not want mortals to take apart the 3000gt and Stealth.
Today I'll probably just stare at it, decide what has to go, and then go home.
Yes, a lift makes things MUCH easier.

Well I haven't exactly tested it to destruction....Quote:
That's the one I wanna use for my build. How many ft/lbs of torque can it handle?
Maybe call PST?

Disabled the key release (hated that damn thing!). And kept scraping paint off the car down to bare metal.
