It was in nice condition to start with. Real clean.
Updated new AEM fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge on rail, koyo radiator. FAL fans and my new favorite mod is the Odyssey battery that weights only 15 lbs.

Damn! You guys all have such clean bays. Im going to have one hell of a time cleaning mine up when I pull the motor. It looks like shizzz :/. It makes me sad that the previous owner took such terrible care of her.

You get rid of all this; I just did my vac reduction the other weekend and it's surprisingly easy. You delete the stock boost solenoid, egr solenoid, and whatever else is on the solenoid rack attached to the firewall. You alse get rid of the hardline that runs from the tb to the charcoal canister, as well as the charcoal canister itself. Pic of all I tore out

What all needs to be done to delete that hardline over the intake bubble for the clutch assist? You delete the clutch vacuum tanks along with it correct? I've heard something about leaving a valve in-place or something?
Theres 2 ways to remove it. All the tank is there for is to save vacuum when the car is off so its easy to pust the clutch in to start it.
1) The way i did it, just undo the line right next to the clutch master cylinder and pull it all out, then just plug the hole on the intake.
2) You can run a line directly to the intake manifold, or T it into the brake booster line so that when the car is running there is still the assist, but when it is off you have nothing.
What I did with mine was bend the hard line running along the back of the firewall and hook it into the brake booster, leaving the nipple on the back of the plenum plugged off, and have the other end that tees out of that one to the plenum, worked like a charm.
If my car was still in one piece I'd take a picture to explain my jamble of idiocy :p

The easiest way is to buy some reinforced vacuum line to replace the hard line. That is what i did and it works like factory and you don't see much of it. It only takes about 10 min. tops and about 3 feet of vacuum line.Quote:

Before and almost after. I still have a good bit of work to do before she's done (fix my fuel lines, change out and get some new IC pipes, and finish making my custom upper plenum)
