I've had great success with BG Syncroshift II in the tranny. I've had Ray P rebuild it after my VCU puked its guts after a stripped output shaft and he said everything looked great in there, including the syncros. Shifts like butter at 130k.

Rotella T Syn 5W40...hands down. I ran 2 track days with oil temps at 260* (2 hours on track a day) and had no issues. Oil pressure was still good the whole time.
I use Syntec 20w50 and it keeps my oil pressure up for a couple thousand miles, but with as many miles as I have, I like to change the oil @1,000 miles which is pretty often, but I always know I have good oil, and I don't leave it in long enough for any to burn off... My shifter is really notchy with a bad 2nd syncro, so I always have to shift slooooow, LOL! I'm gonna try that MT-85 and see if it helps...
