Big box of awesomeness came today!

They look good! Seems to be very good quality!

I never seated in those, but I SO like the comfort of the stock one's (and I drive around 20k miles per year with it) and I always been under the impression that aftermarket are less comfy then stock (maybe I'm wrong ?) so I never took the chance in case I would have less comfort for my DD car! But I really like the idea of the weight saving.

I haven't decided on the seat belts yet, I'll run with the stock 3 point for now and see if I want a harness or not. The brackets are made by Corbeau and they're supposed to be direct bolt ins, but the bolt holes needed some reaming to make them fit right. They are sliding brackets and the seats recline and fold forward like the stock seats.

I haven't taken the car out for a drive yet, but from just sitting in them, they seem just as comfortable as the stock seats. They're just a little snugger at the waist with the side support they have. These seats are not dedicated racing seats, they're more of a touring style seat, and the weight savings isn't as much as I thought. With the brackets installed, the new seats are only about 3 lbs less than stock.
