I've always liked that crazy arse gun in the Jackel...
just don't know how you'd fit it in a 3000gt.
So, today, for my birthday I went out and bought a Springfield XD 9mm. :) So far, I LOVE IT!!! Very easy to use are my initial thoughts. The magazine spring is insanely stiff at the moment though. I'll have to brake it in a little.
Ya that speedloader sure helps the first few times lol
Many years back, I attended a couple of Jeff Cooper's combat handgun classes. He didn't care for 9mm a bit as a defense weapon. According to him, 9 out of 10 hit in the torso with a 9mm get back up, whereas 1 in 4 hit by a .45 will. He also has an interesting story about a drunk indian he emptied a .45 into, and then still had to wrestle an axe away from him. In his words, the indian was "too drunk to know he was dead".
His ammo of choice was 10mm, as is mine. When I cc, it's not for target practice, and if I ever have the need, my target will be right in the center of the chest. My target's next of kin may sue me, but he will not.
I won't draw and point a pistol untill I've decided deadly force is called for and at that point waiting can just get you killed. And even with a 10, I'll tap.
