Anyone intersted in CF doors

I'd like to hear this from CFH, the pricing just doesn't seem realistic.

Brief history..
A year ago when Russ still worked there he had me go out and find a set of doors that I could ship to him to have the CF molds made. (in China or somewhere on the other side of the planet) So I found a set of doors after a couple months of looking. Jer, these were the green doors that Hal brought up to me during the Chumpcar project last year at this time. I went to send them to him and called asking where to ship them to. He said, "Oh, I had a set dropped off by a local guy". Awesome, saves me on the freight and I threw them away. Every month since then (a year ago) I call over there and talk with now Anthony (a hella cool guy who my number on a sticky at his desk) just to get an update on when the doors will be done and in the US. The last report I got from about a week ago was they are hoping they are coming on the next container within the next month or so. Here's to keeping the fingers crossed!!

If they come in soon i'm making set from paper mache. LOL ~joke~

Did they say anything to you about pricing?

I will have to think about this. I think I still want my safety on the sides. But this is very enticing.

ya, projected in the thousand dollar range but I was also warned that they really wouldn't know until the was actually made.

$3800 shipped in continental US for the CFdoors, Pit Fighter front and rear bumpers, side skirts, doors and hatch.

There it is guys... Roughly $3450 for the entire kit, $3800 with shipping, or $1000 for the doors w/o shipping with a group buy.

Good stuff Jer. I'd be willing to pay shipping both ways if they want to sent them here for testing. We can document it via web chat and video phone if needed as well.

Pete, and everyone, I'm sorry I can't give you a composite of the doors or a sample. This is a one time custom parts deal. The good part is you dont have to commit all your money upfront, tho. Looks like I'm going to need a little help with a few things so I'm going to ask Jason and Erron if they're willing to help me setup everything.

For the record guys, I do believe the retail price for the doors is going to be set at $1700-$2000 after our run.

I'm cool with that Err, video doc is a great idea!

I wouldn't mind driving tho. I love driving my car, there's something about hearing it purr. I couldn't have listened to the stereo for more than 2 hours on my trip thru MD this summer.

Anyway, if you want to video document everything we can do it with the set I pre-ordered and I'll split the shipping with you Err. I'm prolly going to get a 2nd set while in GB since they're a lttle cheaper at that price.

Are all interested parties willing to put up 25%? Between $250 and $300. Your money will be tied up for awhile, could be as late as April. The deposit is a hold Chaser will require to place a manufacturers production order. The balance would be due upon arrival and upon Erron and I doing a fitment documentry.

I'm going to start a list of interested parties. Please only put your name on it if you're interested, and are willing to put forward deposit money (prolly around $250-$300) in no more than 30 days from today.
