i just noticed you missed a spot where you could save weight. the head light bucket. cut the bottom of it and the rear wall. most new cars don't have that.

He's been messing with that other 3000 he just bought. I thought when he bought it "well his race car isn't going to get finished now" lol.

I just clicked through every page of this thread looking at pics! Very impressive. My friend Joey has been building subaru's for the past 8 years. He basically strips them, cages them, seem welds them (although not continuous welds like you did, more like every inch gets a little strip of weld) then gets them log booked just like you. His customer's cars are done almost the same everytime. But each year his personal hill climb car gets lighter and crazier. This is where he is at now.

Things have been pretty busy with the new ventures and the firm. Yes, I have anew toy at the moment as Paul mentioned. It's a Sandstone TT3K. I should have that one wrapped up by the end of the month. The plan is to display the Sandstone as DD, Street Car as mild track and street, and the Racecar as radical. They all will be unique and prove understanding and capability of this platform and building fundamentals for others. The racecar build is done, it just needs the motor and tranny dropped in, the axles installed and the driveshaft connected... connect a few wires (26 to be exact) and some fluids and she's ready for testing. I see her every once in awhile as she's sitting just waiting for me to cherry pick the motor in. For now I'm more concerened with customer service and business development rather than play. I will have "play" this summer I just have a few other continually revolving priorities that keep trumping play time at the track. She will lay the smack down when it's time. The power to weight is ridiculious and the brakes and suspension are EPIC. Just imagine for a second what an 800whp AWD car will do that weighs under 2500lbs with a driver... STUPID! The time will come.
No, NOW!
