Started sanding down the valve covers for paint . Pita
replaced the other 5 rod bearings. No wear, even on the #6 which has shown copper on pretty much any one of these I have taken apart. All spec'ed out between .0015 and .0018. Not going to mess with the mains at this time.
Yep. Plan is to give the original 3.0L hell at the track some more before doing hot and cold compression tests and ceremoniously pulling it. It will be built in the next few years so I always have an engine ready to go... or it will end up in a stripped racecar... who knows.
