Hi, I just purchased a 1992 VR4. I've been a mechanic since 1979 and worked for a Mitsubishi dealer when the 3000gt was first announced. Obviously it was an incredbly impressive car for it's time and still one of the sexiest looking cars to come out of Japan in my opinion. I pretty much forgot about them for quite a while till I found this one and had to have it. Just picked it up last Thursday and enjoy the car every bit as much as expected.

Hello everyone. I signed up to this site after hanging around the 3sgto.org Facebook group for a while, as I was added there to provide some input in a few technical threads. I don't personally own a 3000GT, although I have a couple of local friends that do. Alan approved me for an independent vendor/sponsor account for this site, so I figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm an AMSOIL Premiere Direct Jobber, which effectively means I've built a professional and successful business (you don't have to remind me what most dealers are like). I've spent the last three years studying lubrication engineering resources and have planned to acquire an STLE certified lubrication specialist certification after some more experience and studying in the lubrication field. Without beating my chest, I have a fairly good grasp of automotive lubrication and oil formulation. I'm not here to trash talk whatever oil it is you're using, but simply raise awareness of the products we make for this application, answer questions, and provide any knowledge and feedback I can in lubrication-related discussions. As an aside, I'm also a dealer for Diode Dynamics (high end LEDs).
A bit more about myself, my full time job is an IT Systems Engineer, I spend my free time designing speakers (I have a self-taught specialization in acoustics), fishing, and wrenching on my own vehicles. I have 2 kids age 2.5 and 6-mo, a beautiful wife, and live in NW Indiana. I hope I can provide some value to this community. I just picked up a Jet Black 93 Stealth RTTT, drove it back from Winnipeg, MB Canada to Brooklyn, NY. It was a great chance to get to know the car (still have a lot more to learn). Looking forward to the wealth of knowledge on this board, and hoping I can contribute as well.
