Ladies and Gentlemen! I am now the proud owner of a RUNNING 3000GT VR4! I was swinging from the rafters is the garage today when she turned over for the first time since I've owned her.
Alas as the day progressed and we put everything back together we discovered that the 18" rims (they came with the car) would not clear the calipers by damn near a full inch on the front. They clear the back just fine. I found spacers online but have serious doubts about putting one that thick on there......
Needless to say I sat in my car with it running on jack stands and listened to an old AC/DC compact disk in the stock stereo and marveled that all the original equipment works.......
I suppose next weekend I will get her out on the road....

Got a new OEM oil pump for Christmas along with some other parts. Slowly working my way towards a rebuild.

I got some more polishing done on my lower intake runners so now I just need about another six hours of sanding to do & then it's final polishing time.

Wix oil filter and Rotella T6!

Yep seems that Napa Gold/Wix filters are really the only good all around construction aftermarket filters.

Worked on street car. Unfortunately I decided to hack up my ETS intercooler piping. Oh well. In the end it made a little more room for passive airflow to the radiator.

Also moved the upper radiator and intercooler support pivots another inch forward. Almost have 12" from the radiator to the manifolds now. Engine and coolant temps are super cool setup like this.
