Packers/Lions game was a fun one to watch this weekend. You could really tell that Green Bay was holding back and more was expected. Bummer that the Lions couldn't get in the game more, they had a lot of opportunities to come back. Suh really needs to calm down and let out his frustration is better ways than to step on people... Stafford needed to calm down, getting more throws in than Rodgers does not prove anything other than you're just throwing it away. If the Lions slowed it down a bit and kept Stafford focused on throwing accurately, the Lions might have had a better chance. I was hoping for a gridlocked game, it really kinda wasn't, Green Bay stepped up the offensive line in the fourth quarter to drag the clock down. I think Stafford though that he was going to pull off a last minute win, but you can't do that with the Packers, the defense may not be #2 in the league, but the defense can be a #1 offense when it's needed.

Andrew Luck has become only the 8th QB in NFL history to throw for 40 or more TDs in a single season.
Only two quarterbacks have done this at a younger age, too. Matt Stafford threw 41 touchdowns in 2011 at the age of 23. Dan Marino did did it twice, throwing 48 TDs in 1984 (a record that stood for 20 years) when he was just 23, and then 44 in 1986 when he was 25.
.....Just imagine if Marino were playing in today's NFL.

why should the Failcant's hire Rex? I'm on the fence about this.
Because the ATL defense is horrific. Rex has the defensive pedigree to get that back on track.

Suh suspension overturned. He will be playing against the cowboys sans 70k.
You got it. He could be successful there, being a defensive minded guy like he is. His defense at Baltimore was always stout. The Falcons passed on him in 2008, but that was prior to him having any NFL HC experience.

it would be nice to have a HC(of any sport) in this town with some attitude. mother of gawd the shit talking that would come from the match up with the Aint's(who's fans seem to have dissappeared) would be glorious.
