'99 VR-4 19T Build

Finally got the car in the air to get her ready for RR and the tx3s gathering.

Here is the list:

• RPS Clutch
• Resurface flywheel
• Slave cylinder
• Slave cylinder line
• Rebuild master cylinder
• Ray Pampena bell housing brace
• All new Transfer case seals
• Clutch booster
• Re-thread transmission fill plug
• New studs for turbo and exhaust mounts (using bolts now)
• Finish install of ground wire kit
• Pay Greg to carbon dip my belt covers
• New rear motor mount (already did the other 3)
• Reconfigure the BOV recirculating line to help prevent it from popping off
• Have S2000 seat brackets customized for proper S2000 seat install (YEAH more head room)
• Skillard metal fuel line covers
• Maximal Performance rear control arms
• GTO MR front brake ducts
• Paint windshield wiper arms, they are showing their age.
• new pvc valve
• Catch can
• new oil pan
• Fuel filter
• wash and wax the car
• pass inspection

Then, bribe Adam to come with me for a dyno day at PRT Performance to finally see what she can do with a clutch that will hold the power.

The joys of being the 3rd owner of an older car.
When removing the transfer case I was confused why the 5 th bolt was missing, now I know, the entire bracket is broken off.
Also the marking on the transfer case looks like it came from a salvage yard.
Looks like I'll be buying another transfer case. I might be able to get a crap one just for the casing?

Better look at what's wrong, mine is missing the bolt hole on the top right of the tc.

New to me transfer case in bound, I'm buying Adam's spare for cash+ my old one. He may look at rebuilding it.

None of the kimberlite-films hosted pics are showing up in Tapatalk. Other hosts seem fine. Not sure why as they work fine in Chrome on the same phone.

Sorry for the non activity, February is my busy month for work anyways and I get to add to that work load since my right hand man is leaving. SUUUUUUUUUCKS

Haven't updated on here in a while. So, to recap.

I hired on my friend Chris to help with the pain in the ass project of clutch swap + the clutch boost and rebuilding the master cylinder. Chris coming over also = sexy ass 370Z.

After Chris dropped the trans, I went to work taking off the bell housing. It is always comforting to see everything look perfect when you open it up.

After a lot of dremel work, I went through about 3 blades. The thicker brace that Pamena sells now requires a bit more cutting.

Henry is helping out, with my rushed timeline he is modifying the seat brackets of the S2000. Also on this same day I got to meet the legendary Gatecrasher and Vegas Idol. I have no idea why I didn't take pics. :cry:

So, this week is driving to break in the clutch. Getting the alignment and state inspection done on Wednesday. And heading to the dyno on Saturday. See what she can do!

Hopefully will have the S2000 seats in and good to go this weekend as well.
