Well the EVO MAF came on a car with a TD05 turbo... ;)
You can log boost with your ECU and EVOScan. Boost logging is done thru the MAP sensor pin.

Hey Paul looks good. How well is it clamped on the flange though? Any gaps? Ill post up mine elsewhere in a bit.

And yes you can still datalog boost on the 98SL ECU, even though you can't control boost.
could one of you guys that are logging check something for me? The idle position switch in evoscan always reads 0, but I tested it with a multimeter and set it up correctly.
Can you rehost the file I was trying to download it and test it out when I get my 98sl ecu in. My cable is on the way from blackstealth(Great guy helped me alot)
LOVE YOU GREG< NO HOMO!
My evo maf connector came in yesterday and I actually just cut the old connector off since mine was in really bad shape. It looks really clean this way. The car fired up right away like I'd never shut it off idleing a little rich around 13.5:1. After maybe 30 seconds it pulled up into around 15.5:1 and settled there. It may be a hair lean because right now there is no air filter, but it is probably also caused by a vacuum leak somewhere. The idle still hunts a bit, but not as bad as before, so I'm going to have to leak test and see what's going on. I also can screw the biss all the way in and still have about 1000 RPM idle speed, so something is up, I have the flash set for 850.
I really want to thank you and Jeff for making this possible. It is amazing I can take an SL ECU and an evo maf and the car fires right up and runs without any piggyback adjustments on 550s.
Please guys show some support, this is a Godsend to us.
I should have mine installed soon too. :) I'm currently chasing vacuum and boost leaks. The throttle body shaft leaks big time where I can't hear any other leaks in that area if there are some plus it starts immediately as soon as I put 1 psi in so I'm definitely getting my tb rebuilt. Thankfully I had been saving back a set of seals for awhile so all I have to do is install them. Once I have all the leaks fixed and the car runs decent I will probably swap in my 98 SL ECU. I'm anxious to see how it works. I should swap the ARC-2 out for awhile for the EVO MAF.
Another very expensive but more than worth while investment for this setup is a brand new Mitsubishi Throttle Body. That alone will make your car run stock smooth....or at least a remaned one with new seals, IAC and FIAV.
