If thats the case then several of the links in the TT conversion thread should be removed.
I've extended O2 harnesses before successfully. Keep in mind the resistance of the circuit plays a major part in the sensor readings, and proper shielding is mandatory.
I've extended them also. A bunch of TT FWD have done it. I don't think you are supposed to solder them though.
Me too. Of course, those were NBO2's. How did you shield them? All I did was solder and heat shrink... Never had an issue.Quote:

Extending the harness is a different story, but as long as you don't use thinner wire or extend it an obnoxious distance there's nothing wrong with extending it IMO.
Then they did it wrong. Don't use shitty wire or add 100ft of it and you're fine. Resistance of 8 ga copper wire is only like .6ohm/1000ft.Quote:
