No valet's for me either. But I have taken it to the tire shop and may take it to a shop for the AC.

This device(it really needs a cool name) can't over ride the ecu. So a rpm based limiter is not an option(AFAIK)

So are the second gen units ready to go?

When shopping for a Null-modem serial cable, purchase a female-to-female version.

For valet mode: You could use the Auxiliary Input, set duty cycle to negative number, and have low boost mode when activated.

Simace: As for Evoscan datalogging, I had it communicating using these settings: 57600 Baud, OpenPort 1.3x (FTDI), MMC (1G/12pin). The reason I switched the Mitsubishi MUTIII to MMC (1G/12pin) is to get rid of the 5 baud init as my device doesn't need it. Tonight when it's cooler, I'll go try Evoscan and post config pictures.

I actually have mine set up like this. I used it as a valet button when my car went in for an alignment. But most of the time I just use it for a "push for boost!" button.
