well nothing really new to report. Just been cleaning and painting. I tested the coils and they ohm out perfect, so that's some money saved.

Heat them up, and then test them. Lots of times, coils only have issues when warm.
That's a very good suggestion!
A good idea. I heated them with my heatgun until they were just a little too hot to keep a finger on.

My confidence in the lower numbers is less just because I couldn't find my "good" meter and had to use my really cheap one.
Looks okay to me.
Anyone have any experience with turbo blankets?

In theory response would be improved and certainly underhood temps would be less.
Just lowering timing a bit more and smoothing a few spots:

It is going to be time consuming to verify this is good. Will have to do a vd plot every PSI or so to see where it wants more timing. On the other hand I can leave a little on the table at lower levels and spend the most timing tuning my max boost. Can also use that data to interpolate a bit.
Maybe this is a waste of time, but it is free and I have the time. If any of you have looked at the ports in the stock oil filter housing they are just horrible. VERY rough casting inside. I tried to smooth them out as far as I could get in. Not trying to make the ports bigger, just trying to smooth them out. I hope it goes without saying you need to clean this thoroughly when done.

Also, be sure to pull the oil cooler thermostat to clean out there too.
Very good idea. When I did my Turbo conversion I noticed how bad the housing was but went ahead and installed it anyway. After a few months I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I pulled it back out and smoothed it out. Peace of mind
