from a few months back. i now have 7/16" spacers up front, as the tt brakes won't clear anything short of toothpick sized spokes.

but inside centerline is ok? htf does that work? i understand the rationale behind it; but at the same time, if you start with 45mm offset (inboard) and you now have an identical amount inboard, and just added a bit to the outboard, how does that "stress the bearings"?
i mean, i don't have definitive proof of anything, but i JUST removed my fwd wheel bearings, and they were still 100% fine; and this is with 200k miles. a good 40k of that was with this particular wheel set. i'm not seeing the proof in my case. perhaps if you INVERTED the stock wheels and bolted them up, you'd be wrenching the bearings--but that's something entirely different than just having 30-40mm of rubber outside the fender.
with the ride set to the softest setting, the ride on my d2's is pretty much identical to the stock non-ecs struts i had on previously. the rear is a "tad" firmer, but it's not uncomfortable. i could barely fit 1 1/2 fingers between tire & fender in the rear before; and i had the fender score marks on my tires to prove it. i now have a solid fist of gap; and i'm happy with that.
with my Teins I have them wound up more than recommended and it's still not really high enough to make me happy :p still around 2cm lower than stock (I need the clearance as I'm running larger overall diameter than stock.
Looks good just needs a 4" drop and fender flares
just picked this one up
think i'm just going to use it for parts
bodywork might be more work than its worth
