Watched Mud on netflix last night. Pretty slow and just never really connected with Mud. Was okay as a male to watch the boys develop a mentor but was painful for my wife who had no connection. You'd be just fine skipping this one.

Touche.
BTW, watching "pain and gain" right now. Not really helping out my bias against "serious" Mark Wahlberg movies. But Bar Paly....OMFG. I'd hit it with the force of several angry gods.
That good huh? Better than the Avengers?
Man of Steel 7 out of 10
I had it down to a 6 or lower at times because of the typical stupid super hero parts that make it into almost all theses movies but there were so many cool parts that made up for it. I liked it but I couldn’t help but think they screwed it up in parts. Like if they would have spent a little more time editing the movie it would have been a 9+.
Pain and Gain is a twisted movie. What really makes it F'dup is that its based on a true story.
Saving Mr. Banks: -10 out of 10. ONLY watch this if you understand that it is fictional and Disney propaganda. As a movie it was pretty good - Emma Thompson was great, the rest of the cast was good, and the flashback-based storyline was ok. However, the movie is a classic example of revisionist history, in this case Disney waiting long enough after the fact to re-write Walt's callous treatment of P.L. Travers as empathetic and moving (look it up if curious). I am pretty shocked at how boldly Disney tried to pull this off.
