I think you need to develop a chain driven timing setup... You seem to have little to no luck with the belt. Sorry to hear that man, I hope you get it all worked out.

P.s.

If you had a ticketed mechanic working on it, I'd recommend having him cover the repair cost of his inability to do it right the first time.

Yea and he shakes his head and says. Idk what to tell ya man. Idk why the belt isn't staying tensioned. I haven't had any luck with this since I've owned it. But it is too much cash invested to just Sell it for nothing .

Time to get a new mechanic he sounds like a jackass, he can't even figure out how to time an engine.

It didn't stay tensioned when he done it because he didn't set the tensioner pulley correctly. So yeah it was his fault it failed the first go around.

Never had any problems with the MBC, glad it's working great for you as well!

Only thing I did to the 3s today was replace the trim piece at the top of the rear window that the squirter mounts on. Mine was pretty faded so I pulled the one off the parts car.

finished swapping injectors from the silver car and white car. changed the plugs in the 95. trans cross member is in white car. transfercase is on. new shifter bracket is installed. trans mount and bellhousing tightened up on 1992.

getting close to both being drivers again.

It failed over 4 times but today when it gave up I fucking heard the valves get punched by the pistons . Every single time I take it back apart, the tensioner plunger will be pushed back in. So I don't know what that means. Guys have tried to explain but ...
