laugh now. i've been around this community for a long time, and i've seen guys just like you come and go. lots of shit-talkers about grand plans & end up selling it and buying something else inside of 6 months. maybe you'll surprise me & keep yours longer--but what i am 99% sure of is that you'll never go through with all of it.

2nd, you are going to have quite a project on your hands with the AWD conversion, Buy a new TC, dont pay less than a grand for a transmission (if they are selling it for less than a grand its a POS) rebuild the rear end you are going to buy.
3rd, Buy a TT, lol. I drove my Stealth 70k over 7 years and it was awesome, I bought the VR-4 last April, I havent put 200 miles on the Stealth since then. In fact I havent started it since January (I am going to get it running in November). GOing to use it as my winter car, lol. Quaife and snow tires FTFW.
ive got a bunch of pop up lights. which style do you need? iirc 3000gt ones had sharper corners and the stealth ones were more rounded. pm me if your interested in pics.Quote:

Did an oil change at work with shell rotella t6. Then while driving it home, I turn onto my street while driving over unplowed snow piles, and my catback slips off my downpipe (strap clamp) lol. With that said, I ordered a new downpipe and 02 bung and I'm having a flange welded onto the catback so this doesnt happen again. Also ordered an aero turbine muffler to test out in place of the borla xr1.
I re-threaded two of the damaged internal nuts for my right hand side hood strut & finally got the replacement strut installed.
I spent the afternoon installing a Ground Control Coil over kit on my '96.

I made my control arms about 7 years ago off of Afcoracing for my Stealth and saved myself 60 dollars over what 3sx was selling them for. They still look great.

Pulled my car into the garage for the winter.
Finally got off my arse to complete my tax return. Money will be spent on paying the guy for these 13T's and a dyno tune [once I have installed the turbos and all the goodies in my sig]. Can't fucking wait :DevilSmile:
Pressure tested, checked my plugs, touched up the polished pieces, pulled a 1% more fuel up top and tested my coils. .5/.6v primary and 12,000ohms secondary. Time for new ones.
Took both for a 20 mile run and parked them in the garage. Ordered an AEM wideband for the VR-4 and installed a new half shaft and ebay BOV on the Stealth. Asked the wife if she wanted half the garage this winter and she said no, you can have it. :w00t:
I installed remote start on her car last year and she loves it. :coo3l:
Installed polished fuel rail and black fitting ek2 loop. Polished and clear coated my ignition coil bracket. Polished the radiator filler neck and installed. And started putting in SS allen head bolts. And broke my damn t-bolt clamp y-pipe to throttle body. pic to come tomorrow when I finish up.

Monday: I tore drivers door panel off, and fixed my loose window, so now when i shut my car door it doesn't sound like its going to brake. Tuesday I removed my entire Shifter assembly short throw and all, cut out 1.5inch out of the short throw to shorten the shifter height and welded it back together, and added some bushings to take up some of the free play, shifter feels much better, Applied a coat of paint for looks to the shifter. Also cleaned and orginized my garage.
Today: nothing, just got in and drove it to work.
anyone who wants a stripped down AS-IS6g72 DOHC motor, let me know! for sale, I sell cheap. Asking 100$ for just block w\ crank.... I have other things, will sell rest of motor for 200$...PM for details lol Rebuild it or Use it for parts.
Shortening a shifter doesn't make the throws any quicker, so you achieved nothing with that other than adding more effort in your shifts.

It doesn't matter. He shortened a short throw and all he did was make it harder to shift. Some kid did that same shit to a shifter that came in one of my brother's Neons. The thing was notchy as fuck and hard to shift. He thought the synchros were going bad. Ended up putting a normal short throw in and the difference was night and day. It shifted smooth as silk. bboyalan fixed my spark issue on center coil, loose wire on boomslang wireharnass to AEM EMS V2. He installed the HKS Twinpower. I am happy.
Started to get the crazy idea to polish the TB since I have it apart but quickly realized this was the last damn thing I wanted to polish on the car. Screw that!
