I get to read people's complaints about how they don't understand their mortgages, then laugh at them. Then I send letters back saying how we're sorry we can't accommodate whatever hair brained request they were making. Occasionally I send them some money for my company's screw-ups. Currently learning the ins and outs of the credit system to start working on fixing credit reporting (I HATE bankruptcy...). It's rather nice as I make decent pay, and my headphones rarely ever come off my head. :)
Almost retired, save 3Ss as a hobby. No, not for profit, lol.
Plasma process engineering technician. I assist engineers in the development of the latest plasma metal cutting technologies. Its not enough to support my ride, so it spends a lot of time sitting.

I was working for Microsoft as a Senior Support Engineer till they decided to close our office here in Raleigh. I just started a job this week as a Support Analyst for a software company dealing in Utilities Management. I got lucky as I am working with one of my fellow Microsoft co-workers. It's a small company but they are growing really fast. They are already starting to expand operations west. I should be able to climb the corporate ladder fast with this company!

I kill babies, steal oil and apparently I am a power hungry mod who is paid a six figure salary by AF for having a green name.
I smoke crack while watching homosexual porn...
Jeff, I think its crazy that people have come down on you for being a mod. I don't have a long history with you, however I cant say you have done anything to make me dislike you. Sure you have called me out when I have made very general statements. But you have always done it in a way that I could explain myself before you jump all over me.
Much respect to you for your real job. Protecting our freedoms and giving others a chance to enjoy it as well.
Pump and valve mechanic for SSBN submarines (Yes those are the ones with hundreds of nuclear warheads, eat shit if you are gonna hate with some anti military bullshit) I take a HUGE amount of pride in my job knowing that I MAKE A DIFFERENCE. We have NEVER had a sub leave a refit late, EVER. The work I do is inherently important and has an impact to the operation and safety of several hundred sailors hundreds of feet below the surface of the ocean, all across the pacific.
It's awesome, btw
Electrical Engineer in Silicon Valley (job title: r&d hardware engineer). But I spent more time & money on my car when I was a student; taxes, student loans, and cost of living....
