Cant wait for Sunday, last night was a good appetizer.
Cowboys looked pretty damn good. I was impressed.
Jeremy
Cowboys have HUGE tallent, if they bring it together, they will be a very hard out in the post season.
I dont think my Steelers are even a playoff team this year.
Jason
Weeden's performance against the eagles (5.1 passer rating) was the worst by a QB with 30+ pass attempts since 1984. They lost by 1 point.

RG3 had a great game.
Pats look very solid, they will be hard to beat.
less than happy about the colts first game, but it's his rookie season...so i can't say i expected much more.
He will be a good QB, he just needs time. That was a really bad team last year so its not like he will be able to make them great over night.
Was happy to see blowmo pull it together... Favorite part was when they kept showing Rob Ryan lip f@ck yea! After goal line stand.
Can't believe Andy Reid thinks he called a good game; no rush plays in 3rd qtr wtf
Hope Peyton stays healthy

The Ravens are tough for sure, they do match up well against the Pats. Thought Flacco played a little too lose though, you cant just keep lobbing passes up like that against a good team and not expect them to be picks, the Bungirls were pathetic.
niners are red
lions are blue
personal foul
ndamukong suh
LOL, I like that! :lmao:
Jeremy
yea, WTF. I had to follow play by play on the web (no NFL network.)
I almost thought it were all mistypes. WTF Mastay pass to ??? Again??? WTf is going on here. Did Rodgers change his name?
Packer fans are happifyed by slightly improved defense, disconcerted by balky offense.
Jermichael Finley = plank-hands.
Jones = directionally-challenged.
Driver = bench-rider with a TD catch.
I was shocked the Bears offense was so pathetic. Was almost like they didnt bring there offensive line.
Even though the refs were flag happy today Pittsburgh handled the Jets without much effort.
And I have to say Giants fans are the biggest bunch of pussies ever. Coughlin said Tampa bay pulled a cheap shot by going after Eli on the final kneel down. ESPN is all abuzz saying Tampa and Schiano are dirty and all this other crap.
Its called playing to the final minute you pansies. If they had forced a fumble they could have picked it up and ran it in for a game tying TD.
the rams game was fun to watch in a sadistic way. rgIII impressed. was glad 2 c st louie pull it out.

The Panthers managed to outscore the Saints. Thats a big plus for us.
This season has left me uncertain...all around. The only team I see being very dominant is the 49r's. Their defense is disgusting. Packers need to improve if they plan on going all the way. Time will tell.
Patriots W T F was that?

I really don't care for the defenseless reciever rule, but that should have been a PF with or without it. 1. He launched 2. He was too high
And that game still makes me sick.
Apparently, he heard me through the TV.
Washington Redskins WR Josh Morgan receives death threats on Twitter - NFL News | FOX Sports on MSN
Yeah, I don't like it either.
1. To my knowledge, there's nothing that says you can't launch. You just can't spear with your head. He did not spear.Quote:
“It is a foul if a player initiates unnecessary contact against a player who is in a defenseless posture.
(a) Players in a defenseless posture are: [. . .]
(2) A receiver attempting to catch a pass; or who has completed a catch and has not had time to protect himself or has not clearly become a runner. If the receiver/runner is capable of avoiding or warding off the impending contact of an opponent, he is no longer a defenseless player;
[. . .]
(b) Prohibited contact against a player who is in a defenseless posture is:
(1) Forcibly hitting the defenseless player’s head or neck area with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder, regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him; and
(2) Lowering the head and making forcible contact with the top/crown or forehead/”hairline” parts of the helmet against any part of the defenseless player’s body.”
2. I can't tell from this angle, but it looks as if the hit is to the shoulder pads/chest, rather than the head/neck. Plus, he caught the ball, faced the defender and took ~2 steps(aka becoming a runner, admittedly this one is borderline and probably should've been called). HOWEVER, the rule is not being called consistently, and I don't mean just this year with the replacement refs. It was the same way last season.
3. Finnegan is a dick that gets away with a lot of shit, and baits players into pf's. Still no excuse for Morgan throwing the ball; friggin' bonehead.

In this still frame, it is clear the helmets never make contact. I can also see the defenders right and left hand to Morgan's right side. He's maybe a touch early, but a no call there is legit in my book.

Yes, James Harrison simply being on the field is a personal foul, according to the refs. He makes some nasty, and often dirty, hits, but he also gets unfairly categorized a lot.

Amature hour.

this game has had both a (partial) streaker and the loudest "bullshit" chant on the planet.
Told ya, Corey! :p

Jeremy you shut your whore mouth :P
No shame in that loss, certainly could've went either way. :)

the WR on the OTHER side of the field ran out of bounds. It is the refs way to signal that, but usually they just drop it at their feet... not the players feet.

Sanchez getting juked is too funny. That exact same thing happened to one of their receivers (same defender) and the Jets made fun of him big time...then Sanchez does the same thing.
Jeremy
True, but they lost to probably the best team in the AFC, and it went to the wire. If I were a Pats fan, I wouldn't hang my head. Baltimore is damn good.
