It's very pathetic to hear about all the bull autoforums has been pulling. Luckily I never had any problems with the virus. I was very disappointed when members couldn't sell anything without becoming a supporting vendor or having a vendor list the product on their site. I don't think that was a good move to support the "little guy," but again it was all about money autoforums could get from the average joe. There probably would have been more products out there if it hadn't been for this and I know I would have tried to make a few things too.
I hope there's a way to retain the wealth of information from 3SI on here somehow because there isn't a price that can be put on that in my opinion. I've learned way too much not to frequent old posts. I'll be honest, I don't know if I can completely give up 3SI because of the information there but if I had that somehow I'd have no problems making 3SGTO my main forum.
I hope everything pans out how you'd like and I'm glad to see you're still moderating. I'm also sorry for your loss. While I still have my father, I lost my 26 year old sister to cancer earlier this year and I know how hard it is to lose someone in the family. It will get better with time though.
Is there a reason as to why I can only get to one part of the forum now that I am registered? I could see more as a guest.

Adding to the pile on. I got the email earlier while at the DR office with my Mom and had to wait to get back home to get on the net. Getting her off to my sister's for the weekend and waiting for my wife to get done with the computer put me all the way into Saturday for getting registered. I seized the moment to realign my screen name to what I have on the STL and FL3S forums, something I was going to ask for over on the 3SI board, but never got around to it. Good luck Alan, it looks like a very good kick off weekend and hopefully enough support shows up to keep the site solvent. I really despise AF and their outlook on forum ownership. You can log into Paypal and cancel the subscription on paypal's website. Luckily mine expired a month ago because I didn't have any balance in paypal they could grab. The funny thing was that I noticed absolutely nothing different, other than a button to "Get premium".Quote:
