That's what I was going to do. I know this one will be destroyed at some point, the first time I rocket off the track. Carbon is pretty, a bit lighter than wood, but at the end of the day plywood may be a better option for an "expendable" piece like this. It'll certainly be the difference between 50 bucks and a few hundred.

Erron, what up?!
This looks AWESOME! I want.
Keep us in the loop on price. And would this eliminate the Active Aero?
-
What's up man!
Yes, this would totally eliminate the active aero.
That's actually something to discuss. To mount this I welded nuts to the cross member so there would be fab work to get it as strong as mine. You can always just bolt it to the facia, but don't stand on it if you do. :)

Darn...
I love the active aero haha. Well I want to see this thing on your race car at the CU Car Show coming up in April!
-
Love to see this made public.
-
Excellent design and execution.

Alright guys, she said she would make more of these. It would be an impregnated hex core now rather than the foam core. (stronger really, mine is pretty much a prototype) Carbon, 2x2 twill, vacuum bagged of course, comes with turn buckles, would be made on an "as ordered" basis, she's asking $600.
-
Does it extend to the axle centerline?
[edit]: forgot there was pictures on the first post, answered.
-
Mine does not, but then again I have an incredibly long nose on the car. It goes to about where the front turbo used to be. I'm sure we can get actual measurements.

I am really interested in this but have some questions;
is this being sold as a complete kit or are there other things needed to complete this upgrade?
Will you be able to provide a detailed installation instruction since you have already done it? =p
Where is this place located for shipping and or pick up?
