As usual, I'll be needing a 1 bedroom cabin, if possible.
BRG is a gathering that has, for more than a decade, been based around driving one of the top roads in our country; Deal's Gap. 318 turns within 11 miles!! Motorcycles and cars travel from all over the country to drive the Tail of the Dragon. Over the years our location of where we stayed has changed to meet the need of our attendees. It's been in Pigeon Forge, Boone, Maryville, and most recently Fontana Dam. The resort is a spread out woodsy area with cabins for rent, a pool, disc golf, lakes (our cabins are by a fish pond, but there is a larger lake on the property for jet skis and boats, etc), a grill, etc. Plenty of parking for our group and the (sometimes) large trucks that pull our cars there. After running the Gap, we gathering at the end for some eats and a group photo at the tree of shame (attached is last years). Saturday evening we have a big cookout/meal that I (and other members help) prepare for the group. There is also a car show with an awards ceremony late Saturday night!!! It's super casual and LOTS of fun! :)Quote:
