Curious to see cost
I did read that it makes 400,000,000 calculations a second and the fastest ecu recorded for a car is 125,000,000. I don't think the proccesser will be a problem. I also saw someone mention it should be around $2,500 as well.
I just got done talking to my sales rep at AEM and he said that they are planning to release it 1st quarter of 2012 so it will be coming out soon. He didn't want to give me a set price as there are still things that need to be worked out but he said the 2500 was a safe bet. One other thing he mentioned was that he couldn't commit to telling me the lineup of what vehicle specific models would be coming out at least initially meaning we may not get one that is vehicle specific for our cars right away.
It's not much info but I figured I'd share what I know.
Will be nice if it comes out in plug & play. But none of the features on that are new. The Vi-PEC V88 has been able to do all of these things for ages. As has many others. My Vi-PEC plug & Play supports almost all of those features except DBW [but is supported on the V44 & V88].
Any updates on this?
