I actually converted the tails on the Trailer to use LED's! I didn't want to bother building the breadboards and all that crap so I picked up a set pf square trailer LED lights, cracked them open and pulled out the boards. The boards were already wired for brake, turn, park so they were easy to wire right in. Opened up the tail lights and mounted the boards in them. You don't get the crisp LED look like the newer cars but they save on power. So now all of the lights on the trailer are LED are barely draw any power from the main cars lighting system.
Awesome work. In for more. :)

I love these things. :)
Great way to recycle a shell that would be crushed into a useful and cool item.
They are great for traveling and hauling equipment for autox
We actually bought the BBQ to put in the trailer... but ended up using it so much, it's now at our house. LOL So, he decided to just make a custom one to fit the correct size of the trailer instead. He has to get his satin black car fixed before he starts messing with the trailer again.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how yours comes out :)
next time, i want to see someone cut the frame just in front of the firewall & leave the passenger compartment intact. put some stiff springs on the 3/s & VIOLA! now you have room for 2 more adults!
*note*
you will likely need a turbo upgrade & aftermarket brake components to safely perform this feat.
It would be too much weight for the the 3S to haul around. The car only has a 3000lbs tow limit and 200lbs tongue rating.
@Em - I though about the grill idea also, but I think it would take up to much room in the back and I want to leave space to put in a rack to haul rims/tires to the track. So I figured I would get just a small hibachi grill and stick it in the back.
I also though about building a beer tap into the fuel door, running it through cooling coils and into a full size keg in the back! :)
The one idea I have that I really want to get working it using the stock door handles and using them to pop the hatch and gas door! Driver side for hatch and pass side to fuel door. Figure since I still have them keyed I could used the stock key to lock them so nobody could open them. but it will take a lot of figuring out and I don't know if the plastic door handle will be strong enough to pull the release cables. We'll see.....
Heading out after work to pick up more steel to start on the top section. Going to try and get it framed in this weekend and I think I have figured out the plans for the hinged door on the front.
