Got my VR4 (not some lowly auto-SL) just before I turned 17.
Obviously, I riced the hell out of it.

I'm glad I didn't start driving until I was 18, lol. I would have probably succumbed to the rice stage of life :p
I didn't start legally driving until I was 18. Thats when I bought my vr-4 too. Boy did I treat that thing badly at the time. Now I am making up for it.
Started driving to school at age 14 here. :)
