My VR-4 doesn't have this done to it. I don't have the one that I originally did it to. It is just regular splicing, nothing complicated. I even used scotch clips on one with intentions of going back and redoing it with solder and heat shrink, but never got around to it. It still works and has had 0 issues.Quote:

If you did that you could only start the car with the button. You couldn't start it with the key anymore. But it looks like that's what you are going for.
