Oh i dunno, once in awhile west of the continental divide would be awesome...i used to say west of the mississippi, but some yahoo tried to claim the st. Louis gathering as qualifying :p
And before panties get in a bunch, not taking anything away from anyone...yall have fun over there :D
There's only one way to make that happen... get about 40-50 3S owners to travel to an NG from the west and show the organizers that it would be worth doing one in the west. Then, come up with your own organizing commitee who will be able to handle the majority of the arrangements, who would also be willing to front the expenses necessary to reserve tracks and obtain insurance. (look at around $10,000 to get started)
I tried to provide an alternative to the NG for all the west coast owners. For 3 years, I tried to get west coast owners to show they can also gather in decent numbers. The only owners that showed up in Vegas were from California and Las Vegas itself. No one ever attended from Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Colorado or any of the other western states. That kind of turnout won't get the NG organizers attention.
There's a lot more to it than just "Let's have one west of the Rockies"
Please move this one further central.
I'm excited for the short drive this year, finally!!! Last year was brutal for us East Coast people LOL
Glad to see attendance is up :)
What are typical attendance numbers like?
We always get a boost in the last few days before late registration starts
