Awesome althought ive read that before.
In regards to the oil returns does the stock oil return pipe that you cut the flange off have a thread on it. Im just wondering in regards to that nut coming undone and bolt falling into sump as the bolt doesnt look to be welded on the internal side.
No it wasn’t threaded. I did use lock nuts on it so I wasn’t worried about it falling out but that being said I probably wouldn’t do it that way again. The problem with it was I couldn’t tighten it once the pan was on so I had a very small leak there. I was able to grab the end of the bolt with needle nose pliers and tighten a little but it wasn’t enough to stop the leak. So if I did it again I’d probably have it welded or cut slots in the flange so the bolt wouldn’t turn with the nut.
So did you use a TT motor and put it in your NA car? The order of the pictures is kindof confusing to me.
Anyway, I know swapping motors alone is a lot of work, I put a JDM motor in a Stealth ES. To also do TT on top of that sounds like a "fun" time, haha.

It's a NA engine. I just pulled it to do the conversion. The car is much different now than it was at the end of this thread though. Look up AWD conversion and engine build.Quote:

Everyone in my area keep telling me to create a 'Build Thread'. My concern would be how friggin lonngggg it would be. Take days to read it all!
Do it, you can leave out the boring stuff and just put down pics and information you learned as you went or helpful stuff that could help somebody else with the conversion. I'd be interested in seeing the thread.Quote:
