I think with the feedback Alan is getting he will figure something else out guys. Give him a little time to figure it out as I am sure he is just getting overwhelmed with the response and buzz the new site is getting. Pretty crazy how about 500 people have registered so far lol
Just to add my feedback, I personally can say I would not sell here under these requirements. And I have about 50 successful trades on 3si.
how about txt verification or something, google and craigslist do that I think.

My only real concern is the Driver License Number being on the forum. I do trust Alan its the hackers I don't trust and DL # is a major part of identity theft.

Has there been a case of anyone's identity being stolen from 3si before? Shit, I'd be more worried about the security of the DMV database or even a car dealership before 3si.
I'd been a verified seller for so long, I had no idea 3si now required people submit a copy of their license. That's actually a great idea. This way if someone scams a member, their info can be submitted to the authorities to handle.
I paid the $10 annual fee via PayPal and i am verified on PayPal. Also, you have my address from all my payments sent for NG's. That should be good enough verification, no?
