Here is the unit in real life , gotta port and machine the inside radius before welding the surge tank together.

Edit: screw it, I ordered one off ebay. If it doesn't work with my setup I can find something else or move stuff on my firewall.

I'm asking because I have some concerns about it on my car. The thing that the throttle cable goes in looks like it sticks way out the back. I hope it won't hit anything on my firewall. If so do you think you could measure from the center of the TB to the far edge of the half moon piece?

I took some measurements. My IC piping is 78mm ID which is 3.07". The OD is 83mm which is 3.26". The Q45 is 90mm OD and 83mm ID. So it should be pretty decent. Hopefully I can slide a 3" coupler over it as the ones I have now fit 3.26" and it would be just 1/4" more. Worst case I could shave a little off the outside of the Q45.

There are a few on ebay for $130-$150 shipped range.

You know what just occurred to me? It would not be hard to code an idle flag using a simple 'less than' TPS percent subroutine. This would eliminate the need for an idle switch all together.
