slk's tend to hold value fairly well once they're in the 20k range. especially the AMG's.
but if you want classy, there's a lot more to consider than just what's been said here. jaguar xke/xkr's. MB cla's. cadillac cts. etc.

The Buick is at the top of my list right now. Just something unassuming about the car. I like it. Top Gear also loved its sister car.Quote:

the crossfire is an affront to the SLK; it's an abomination. thank god they never made a chrysler knockoff of the r171's. i think the world might have ended.
Man I use to work at a dodge dealership. You must be shorter than 6' because im 6'3'' and with the top down my head stuck out over the windshield. Why was the top down you ask?? Because on almost everyone we got in the top was stuck in the down position. From what I saw they were garbage. Everything but a blast to me lol.Quote:

I'm 6'3" too, we had the coupe (as seen above). I would hit my head whenever we went over a bump, my wife is shorter than me, so for her it was never an issue.Quote:

Thought maybe you were staying away from American brands but started seeing the Buick part way through.
I'd throw a Pontiac G8 in the run. Its classy looking, nice interior (better holden styling), reliable motor and fun to drive out of the box.
Just to throw yet another name out there :D
