If you can't do that, you will continue to have the issue. Part of what I do for a living is direct mold mitigation crews.
Also know that most mold/mildew killing products have bleach in them. Careful with your leather...
The last thing you want to do with mold is use air... you spread the spores. Were talking spores so light and small if you dropped one from 6 feet off the floor it would take 8 hrs to hit the ground. Spores stay in suspension for a long time and require negative air and containment. When you hit them with a fan they emit toxins and spread and cling to new food source. I've seen it in residentual environments for many years. The worst thing you can do is turn on a fan or your furnace. You draw spores in and spread them like chalk dust. They stick to your walls and drapes and anything organic, especially osb and bark.Quote:

Greg, if you put them in the microwave for around 30 sec +or - it will release the moisture that they have soaked up so far. Most desiccant will change color from like a blue to pink when it gets saturated so you can tell when they aren't absorbing any more moisture (if you can see it in the capsules). Anyway microwave them for a few before you toss them in and every 2 weeks or so.Quote:
