What is bad about soldering it?

I used to be a mechanic in the Military "ARMY" and the MIL-Spec harnesses on every vehicle from the Humvee to the M1A-1 Abrams had solder points. Usually the common ground points. They had crimp terminals to hold the wires together and then soldered over them.

There is nothing wrong with soldering, stock harness has tons of solder points in it already.

I looked at those before and almost went that route but some of my wires going into the injector clips themselves were brittle and the insulation was cracking. So I couldn't go the route of unpinning them. I needed to replace the wires also.

Having the pigtails definitely makes it easier due to the age of our cars. I have a big spool of automotive TXL wire left over from making my clone ecu adapter harness so I planned to use that if I needed it. Honestly, I haven't gotten around to installing them yet but I really need to. Two of my injector clips are cracked/missing partial pieces.

so there is one set left!?! if so ill take it!

For everyone else that has paid, I did not make it to the UPS store in time like I hoped. Golfing went longer than expected this morning...LOL They will all ship out on Tuesday as that will be the next time I'm at the post office.
