I built the engine in the cleanest environment possible and BAM whada ya know...I checked the bearings and despite my best efforts, 1 piece of debri managed to go around the bearings of rod 3. I am throwing another set of Bi metal bearings in it since they can handle any possible debri better than tri metal bearings. All the other bearings looked great which was a nice sight. I don't know what bearings you are using or how the environment is that you are cleaning / assembling the parts in but that's all it takes is a small fragment. Take your oil pan to the machine shop and have it cleaned along with your valve covers.
I also noticed that washout is happening within or before 500miles. I also tore apart both my filters and they where full of shit but as I said, the rest of the bearings looked great. This build was also the first time I used a twin filter setup.
