well i'm sure someone could make an aftermarket ecu (and i know a certain someone who will never come on this forum because of his parochial tiff with alan...a someone who is making one) which would work for all years of 3/s. it's probably as simple as creating a universal plug, a flashable chipset, and programming for each FED-SPEC ecu. cali-spec needs nothing. use a fed-spec & plug the extra bung.
I know who you are talking abot. He has been beat to it though. Look up DIYPNP
didn't know pmp had one available already. or is it just in development? got a link NOT on 3si?
Check it out. Its the route I was going to take if I couldn't get a cheap replacement http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/d...532041d40dfcaa Still might go with it in a few months. Looks like the dont have the startup maps for a 3000gt yet. Shouldnt be to hard to work with.
i'll be interested when it is TRULY plug & play...not just potentially capable of being thus.
DIY Autotune is 10 minutes from me...lol
Then why the fuck are you not there helping them develop maps ?
