Big Rush fan here. I have to say RIR is not my favorite in terms of the sound quality but the crowd enthusiasm is undeniable! I've seen them live about 10 times dating back to 1980 and they're still amazing though Ged has lost his upper register for the most part. They just released a concept album based on steampunk and it's pretty damn good IMO.

RIR grew on me from the beginning, but I think that band, in that venue, in front of that crowd, with all the problems they encountered, is the best (however imperfect) concert ever committed to disk.Quote:
