I was a little disappointed that they chipped a little easy. The f-ing tire shop did that.

I like them better than the braided hoses also. I guess Don liked the braided hoses because you don't see stuff like that usually.

The Mikalor clamps are awesome. I ended up busting one of the normal t-bolt clamps, so I decided to get all new clamps. I hated the fact the t-bolt clamps leave the screw sticking up or out (especially on the TB coupler). I think I paid around $54 shipped to replace all the visible clamps.

Shit, I soaked those damn things in paint stripper and tried to pressure wash them (needless to say they will definitely need to be rebuilt now LOL), and there was still paint on them. So I bead blasted them, so the letters are not polished anymore, but they will be. And I still couldn't get some of the damn paint off, but it's on the parts you won't see once installed.

I think I've broke 3-4 T clamps so far. Lucky I've had replacements for all but one on the turbo. I have a regular hose clamp there. I'm a bit surprised I haven't blown it off but I'm not running but 15-16 psi at the moment. I might have to replace that and the other T clamps with those.

A little off-topic & I apologize in advance, but do you use any sort of protective coating over your polished metals, April?
I'm working on some polishing in my engine bay & am wondering if I should protect it somehow (other than just giving it several more hand cotton buffs upon installation).

On a side note for anyone interested in these hoses, they didn't have anymore non-logo ones left after my sale (I specifically asked for a non-labeled set). Perhaps if enough people request non-labeled ones, they produce another batch of just those ones..

Also, they have stellar shipping times using DHL international services...mine are already into the Midwest & they just shipped them out Friday from Hong Kong!!! (not King Cong, lol)

The only thing I coated was the intercooler pipes, and the vacuum tube holder on the TB with a clear coat because they are steel and will rust. Everything thing else is just plain old polished. I'm extremely careful when I work on the car, putting a large microfiber towel over the plenum/tb if I don't remove it. Plus, the car hardly gets driven LOL.
