Thanks, will be the first person other than Trevor running a GTX garrett on this platform..i have high hopes. At 20psi these flow basically 28RS hp, but stay efficient and over 40lbs flow at 3.5+ PR:Bow:
He can get anything you want, you just need to ask :) They are basically the same price as the 1200's, just 350 less ho potential..lol
Yeah, 10 blade billet wheel and standard GT28 wheel on the back end.
I hope so, i got gun shy on building my car around the super high end TD04 since the only place to go from there was backwards in the future. I will be making a thread on this, but when i get all the parts in so its an active thread there shit is actually getting done. A slow summer at work has slown my down big time on moving forward with the car.
They look big since Garrett uses such big housings for burst containment. They a 3" in and 2" out, but yeah, compared to a TD05 or TD04 they are huge:coo3l:

Nah, no stroker for this build. The cost isnt just the engine, its everything else that needs to added to support the extra power.
Maybe in the future.
I'm getting old and there are so many more enjoyable things to spend money on, suddenly blowing 35k on a car doesnt seem as appealing anymore :p

Yeah that's probably why my stroker is sitting bagged in the basement not being used. Lol. I'll revisit a bigger build in the future but not yet. 600AWHP TD04s for now and then something more when I get some fabrication practice in with my TIG welder. I'm curious to see how those turbos perform on your motor. I have a feeling I'll want quick spool in a large T3 frame turbo.
took my front turbo out to change out the header to the gtech one, broke a stud ofcourse.
